I've mostly watched subbed anime, but sometimes dubbed has better quality so I watch dubbed even if its annoying for me... So what do you think its better? Subbed vs. Dubbed

I tend to favour subbed, the anime seems more original and less tampered with :) Plus, sometimes the english voices don't match the characters and that's always a buzz kill when you're watching an anime >w<

For dubbed, I only go for local dubbed that usually airs on TV; Inazuma Eleven, Naruto, Conan and some others. IF it is English dubbed, then it is a no-no. I know there are pretty good English dubbed out there but I had encountered bad dubbed too much I detest them now haha.

I definitely prefer subbed over dubbed. First of all, because in subbed you get the essence of the anime and also there are some anime that parodies the pronunciation because in Japan there are multiple meanings depending on how you say it. And second, when English dubbers shout or scream or say the names of the character(which are Japanese), talk about awkwa~rd. (sample: Nakajima becomes N-uh-ku-jee-mah I just can't stop looking at it in a funny way. No offense to those who like it dubbed!

SUBBED i actually actively REFUSE to watch an anime if it is dubbed. Over-americanized voices just ruin the entire feeling the anime is trying to portray and I just can't take anyone seriously!!! :P

I don't mind either, but as far as non-profit anime goes subbed wins every time. Too often have I tried watching yaoi anime played out by a group of fangirls using their "boy voices" for an all male cast. The acting is crucial in dubs and if the voice of the voice actor doesn't match the character then it's incredibly distracting even in professional dubs like one piece. I prefer dubs only if it's done absolutely perfectly, better than professional, to where you can't tell the anime wasn't originally drawn to be English. Timing, tone, volume, intonation, and everything else must be perfect.
