The series starts several years after Tsubasa wound back time, and it follows the clones of both him and the other Tsubasa, creations of Fei Wong Reed. The male Tsubasa Clone, Syaoran, is a young archaeologist investigating a nearby ruin. Sakura, the female Tsubasa clone, has a vision of a mysterious symbol Syaoran found in the ruins. When she visits Syaoran in the ruins the next day, she stands on the symbol opening a secret room and disappears into it. Syaoran chases after and finds her with a pair of ghostly wings being pulled into the wall. He rescues her, but then her wings disintegrate into feathers that scatter across dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "feathers" were the manifestation of her soul; without them, she will die.

awww I love Tsubasa !!! such an amazing story and yeah unpredictable !

Well I haven't finished reading it yet though... I want to have more time to read it in one time ! The story was kind of fun at the start but then deeper you get in the story and darker it becomes ! so sometimes it is kinda sad T_T but I like how CLAMP is able to imagine such incredible story ! especially about the clone stuff, I really didn't expect it !

The part about Fye and his twin...(what was his name?) was really well done but he clones messed me up big time. I seriously didn't have any idea what they were saying but I kept to the end~

oh yeah, this series, the clones, everything about it left me o________o??????!?!?!? and I had to stop. I heard it ends well but I'm still finding the time to re-read it so I can better understand what the fudge happened.

I also hope that now that TRC and XXXholic are done, they will go back to X/1999 or something! I miss Kamui and it was such a tease to see them in TRC, I was like damn you CLAMP!!! >_<
