Great, a discussion thread! I've been wanting to talk more in-depth about this manga. I don't like Adachi either; she seems like a hypocrite to me. She doesn't have normal, human reactions, so it is hard for me to relate to or sympathize with her at all. I think Rita is with her because it is "easy," i.e. he doesn't need to have a genuine, emotional boyfriend-girlfriend relationship with her. He doesn't seem capable of that kind of love right now. The thing that really confuses me is what are Rita's true feelings for Hatori? He sends so many mixed signals that it is impossible to understand what he is thinking. For me, anyway. And Kosuke is very funny, but he's obviously a player. I'm not sure he would be good for Hatori. I honestly don't know what's going to happen in this story!

I agree about Rita "restraining himself." It's like he is afraid something bad will happen if he goes out with Hatori; is he afraid of losing her friendship? Or does he just not know what love feels like and so doesn't realize he has feelings for her? The only reason I can see why he is with Adachi is the fact that she makes his life comfortable and makes no demands on him. I don't think Rita truly loves her.

Heh heh. The picture on the back of volume two is pretty hilarious, too. Poor Hatori! She is not your typical, cute-sy shoujo heroine that's for sure; the girl is crazy! That's probably why I like her.

You're probably right that Rita is "traumatized" by his past, so he doesn't want to get too close to anyone. But you'd think that after five years, he would trust Hatori a little more. And I'm still annoyed by the way he treats her. He is a jerk most of the time. He needs to improve his ways, or I'm going to find him completely unlikable.

Just want to share my opinion with regards to the "so-called" heroine.
I really like her. She is not one those type of girls that cries easily, blushes easily I mean she's loud but it's cool. I like her delusional tendencies. I mean you can't blame her SHE IS THE HEROINE OF THE STORY :D

Now for the "hero" of the story. I can't believe he's that dense and arrogant. I mean you were childhood friends you should like understand her. However I am liking the fact that the mangaka is making him confused with his feeling towards the HEROINE. I also think that he's got other intentions like he doesn't want to ruin their friendship. or he doesn't want to have the same experience he had with his mother. AAARGH now I'm confused! :):

Now for the "other guy". The heroine and him had a rough start but I think she'll soon realize that he's not that bad after all. I kinda like this type of characters you know always supporting the heroine too bad they don't always get the girl. :( (OR I MIGHT BE WRONG) ;)

Lastly for "goody-goody GF", she reminds me of Yuri Yamamoto from Bokura ga Ita(I do hope I'm wrong) Anyways, there's nothing much to say about her.

There's nothing more I can't say since this manga has just started. Pardon me if this is too long. I can't help but express my opinion on this. I just hope that all's well and end's well.

Hmm, I guess Adachi does look like Yuri from BGI. Maybe that's why I don't like her! But their personalities are not that similar; as annoying as she is, Yuri doesn't pretend to be a nice girl.

I have sneaked a peek at a couple of summaries for the upcoming chapters, and I'm really, really looking forward to chapter 6! It looks like some interesting stuff happens!

Ahh I used to read Bokura ga Ita but I can't recall the characters 'Yuri' TT__TT'

But i do see familiarity between Kurumi from Kimi ni Todoke with Hatori. Especially the hair lol and their illusion on "He is mine cause I love him more than you" assumption xD

Well, I can't find Hatori as annoying. She is fresh and I would like to see more of her. Her selfishness is sweet and I can imagine how hillarious it is if she is to be with Rita lol An ignorant guy and a dotted girl? It is just sooo interesting. :D

I knew the site too and I also has asked for their help on translating but I guess no luck lol Oh well it is a great site and I love reading the summaries there too. It just makes me keep going on scanlating these! xD

I'm loving heroine shikkaku. Adachi pisses me off. She's so good at making others look bad and so absorbed with her goody two-shoes role. Aargh! When will rita realize that he and hatori belong? Oh well, honestly, hatori is more suited for "Kaki-P". Surprisingly, I'm liking Kosuke's character. Plus he's so cool when he stood up for hatori against adachi.

Lol after reading the latest chapter and all. I'm starting to think Kousuke arn't that nice. I think it was all his plan to make Hatori and Adachi argues and all. (Not that I hate it xD) You know, his aim to make Hatori realize there is no real love. Hmmm he is one sneaky fox~ ;p
