Isshoni Training with Hinako Gets English Android AppExercise video with anime girl ships in Japanese, English with workout tools. An app version of the Isshoni Training: Training with Hinako exercise video anime has
launched in Japanese and English on the Android Marketplace for mobile devices on Thursday. (In the Android Marketplace, search for "Training with Hinako.") The original anime revolves around a 16-year-old girl named Hinako who was once human — until she was transformed into an anime character when she was in middle school. Now she stars in an exercise video. An official "how to use" video is
streaming on the YouTube website.
Most of the app's menus and onscreen buttons have been translated into English, but most of Hinako's dialogue has not been translated. While holding an Android mobile device with both hands or putting it on the floor, the user can watch the screen and perform push-ups, sit-ups, and squats.
The app will attempt to synchronize Hinako's animation with the user's exercising through the phone's touch and accelerometer sensors. It will also count repetitions, estimate the calories burned, and graph your progress day-by-day. The app was developed for HVGA and WVGA (800x480-pixel and 854x480-pixel) displays.
Update: According to Saishin Anime Jōhō, if the user gets friendly with Hinako, she will change her outfit to a different, random costume. The anime production company Primastea will allow visitors to try the app out at its Comic Market 78 booth at the Tokyo Big Sight event center from August 13 to August 15.
