TV Tokyo has launched a preview website for Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! — the next Pokémon television anime series after the current Pokémon - Diamond and Pearl — with four five-second television commercials on Sunday. The commercials feature the Pokémon characters Mijumaru, Pokabu, Tsutaaja, and a "mysterious shadow." The story is set in a land called Isshu where a new journey will unfold. The Nintendo game company had already revealed that it will ship a new series of Pokémon: Black and Pokémon: White games for the Nintendo DS consoles in Japan this fall, and the new anime will also launch this fall after Diamond and Pearl ends.

The official website of Takehaya's Roku-Jōma no Shinryakusha!? light novel series posted a new animated promotional video last week. The website offered an original promotional DVD to all those who fill an application for it by the end of July. It also listed the launch of the "We Want to Adapt Roku-Jōma no Shinryakusha!? Into Anime!" project. However, an anime adaptation has not actually been announced.

ANN is hosting the 30-second teaser and 2-minute trailer for the second volume of Sunrise's Mobile Suit Gundam UC video anime series. Bandai Entertainment confirmed at Otakon on Saturday that this volume will be available on Sony's online PlayStation Store on October 30, and the volume will then ship on Blu-ray in November. The release will include the 60-minute episode itself; 20 minutes of bonus features; Japanese and English audio; and Japanese, English, French, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles.

The Japanese imprint Dengeki and the YouTube website began streaming a 17-second promotional commercial video and a 32-second one for "Bokura no Live Kimi to no Live," the debut single from the Love Live! project last month. The school idol project comes from the anime studio Sunrise, Bandai Visual's music label subsidiary Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine. As a self-described "ultimate user-participation project," Love Live! will let its fans vote on the future of the idol characters. The CD single will ship with an anime DVD on August 25, but advance copies will be sold at Tokyo's Comic Market 78 event from August 13 to August 15.
