The first images of a new character in the forthcoming 2nd season of Arakawa Under the Bridge have surfaced along with the logo following the airing of the last episode on June 28th. The new character is known as Amazoness while the second series airdate has yet to be confirmed.

The first season of the series is based off of a manga authored by Hikaru Nakamura and serialized in Young GanGan about a businessman saved from drowning by a mysterious young woman named Nino, which turns into a romantic relationship with the requirement that he live under the bridge with her.
