Suck it up government. Anime has their own ratings and not just for kids. What the hell does this old guy know about anime anyway?

Anyway what would you guys do (from other countries) if this is to happen to your country??

even if the government banned anime.i find a way to watch..no one can stop me from watching anime..even if it kills me..

that sucks...that man could just think of other agenda aside from focusing on anime stuff.

and just imagine otakus staging rallies on streets if that happens in our country. lol

i guess, that kind of uproar applies to every nation with lots of otaku population or simply growing otaku population xD

and it's not even a healthy topic for a government to be so senselessly strict in that kind of agenda IMHO

I live in Malaysia, I can still go online for Anime, but if somehow they do banned Anime, then no voting, and I'll campaigning for banning local animations which is a total waste of time, they suck.
But I'll still go for the net for good Anime. There are more shows that has inappropriate content that can corrupt people's mind. if this is taken out the what is TV for Malaysians.
I live here, I watch TV, I've seen many local things that is so suck, plus some of them does not fit for Malaysian viewers,
censorship is fine, but banning...it's lunatic.
I know local animation did not get fans but it's because they are sucks.Ugly.Lame.
This happen long time ago on action movies,
I remember watching a making of an action movie, in that show they show how a subway train crush on to people standing on the platform, during that scene it was shown that it's just CG. but when I watch the movie that scene was totally gone! what ? they can't make scene like that so they cut off other people's hardworks. The politicians are the one that is corrupt.
This time they target anime, because they can't compete.
As a Malaysian I am Ashamed by this, the anime box clearly note PG or M for mature viewer, what makes them think anime is for kids?
Is Tom & Jerry Show for kids? what makes a stupid cat got smack with a hammer so funny and viewable for kids ? IT'S VIOLENCE IN THERE.
