It follows the manga storyline more closely than the anime. The first episode was released in Japan on January 22, 2006, and as of November 2009, six episodes have been released. The 7th OVA was released on December 23, 2009. The 6th OVA is also the first volume of the series to be available on both DVD and Blu-Ray. | I've seen "Hellsing's" tv series and I pretty much love em, however, I haven't heard a single word about the new OVA ones. Could anyone share their thoughts about about them? Don't wanna start downloading if it's a total fiasco or worse than the tv series.  |
